Barbara Sue (Seagroves) Fink

Barbara Sue Seagroves Fink, age 79, Johnson City, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, August 17, 2021. She is a daughter of the late William “Bill” Haywood Seagroves and Marjorie Lee Deaton Seagroves Hall. Barbara lived most of her life in Erwin before moving to Johnson City.

Barbara was a member of Liberty Fellowship Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and immaculate housekeeper. Barbara loved her children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters dearly. She was a kindhearted and generous woman. Barbara was a caregiver to her mother for several years before her passing. She enjoyed shopping for her family and friends. Barbara was always very well put together, coordinating her clothing with jewelry. She loved her little dog Mia and she was devasted after losing her last year.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Terrell “Terry” Bowen and Danzle Fink; brother, Elton Seagroves; sister, Sylvia Lee Seagroves.

Survivors include her son, Tony Garland (Donna), Erwin; daughters: Kelly Bailey (Doug), Unicoi and Kimberly McReynolds (Carlos), Erwin; six grandchildren: Meagan Padgett, John Padgett, Sage Bailey, Anthony Garland, Kaleb Tittle and Camron McReynolds; four great grandchildren: Leah Kelland Sparks, Bowen Higgins, Nevaeh Garland and Bentley Garland; one brother, Dennis Seagroves (Donna); one sister, Brenda Lyle, all of Erwin; sister-in-law, Jo Ann Seagroves, Gray; several nieces and nephews also survive.

A private family graveside service will be held in the Evergreen Cemetery. Reverend Daniel Foster will officiate. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
