Angela Sue (Foster) Cloyd

Angela Sue Foster Cloyd, age 58, Erwin, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at her residence. She is a daughter of the late Ernest and Brenda Scott Foster. She had lived most of her life in Unicoi County.

Angela was a loving mother and grandmother. She dearly loved her grandchildren and her fur baby, Gabby. Angela enjoyed shopping and being with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, William “Ernie” Foster in 2016; one sister, Patricia “Teresa” Downard; one brother, Brian Keith Foster; one nephew, Jason Stancil; one niece, April Shell; her uncle, who was like her dad, Tenie Ambrose.

Angela leaves behind to cherish her memory, her companion of eight years, Tim Manley; one daughter, Laura Silvers; one son, Gabriel Hoyle; nine grandchildren: Brittney Foster, Dominique Foster, Destiny Foster, Andrew Armstrong, Kaylee Armstrong, Anastasia Atkin, Emily Silvers, Chandler Silvers, Brody Hoyle; one great granddaughter, Sophia Johnson; several other grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers: Johnny Wayne Foster and Samuel Baker; one sister, Joyce Stancil; three nieces: Sabrina Foster, Jessica Stancil Correa, Heather Banner; one nephew, Brian Foster; special great nieces and nephew: Naya, Jason, and Micaela Correa; two aunts: Marie Mattos and Barb Ambrose; special cousins: Kendall Ambrose and Joey Ambrose; best friends: Beth Slagle, Autumn Arnold, Felicia Norton and Lisa Rice.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon-1:00 PM Thursday, January 21, 2021 in the Robert Ledford Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM Thursday in the Garland Cemetery. Reverend Burnie Jones will officiate. Everyone is asked to meet at the funeral home by 1:00 PM Thursday to go in procession to the cemetery.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we request that all who attend the services wear a mask or face covering and observe all social distancing guidelines.
